Anisha Hackney · Founder, Textured Talent™

The Founder

Built by an HR practitioner who has worked inside the systems
she now helps you navigate.

Anisha has spent more than 35 years inside the systems that shape careers: boutique staffing firms, agency recruiting, in-house talent acquisition, C-Suite search, HR leadership, human capital strategy, transformation, and ministry. She has led HR functions of up to 200 professionals and in-house talent acquisition teams of up to 60 people. Textured Talent was created from that depth — the practitioner's ability to see exactly how experienced professionals are evaluated, misunderstood, overlooked, advanced, and protected. She is also the founder of Curinnovae, a strategic human capital consulting firm serving private equity and mid-market organizations.

A New Agency. Not a New Practice.

Trusted before Textured Talent
had a name.

Before Textured Talent became an agency, Anisha spent decades advising leaders, managers, and employees through career disruption, organizational change, conflict, transition, and reinvention.

The discernment, strategy, and care behind Textured Talent are not new. The agency is. Early engagements are intentionally selective so the work can remain personal, ethical, and deeply attentive.

Any reflections from Anisha's work speak to her broader HR, leadership, and advisory practice — not to formal Textured Talent engagements, which are just beginning.

The Operating Principles

What this practice
is built on.

🏛️ Principle One

The Interior Design Principle

Every career has a structure that either serves the life being lived inside it — or doesn't. Before anything is designed, the existing structure must be studied honestly. What is actually there. Not what we wish it were. Not what is trending. What is there — the bones, the depth, the layers that make it irreplaceable.

🛡️ Principle Two

The Anti-Predatory Commitment

Textured Talent was built as the honest alternative to a career services industry that uses crisis as a conversion mechanism. We will not manufacture urgency from someone's pain. We will not let a person in their most vulnerable chapter walk away feeling like they need to buy something to survive it. That is the dominant model. This is not that.

🌿 Principle Three

The Sacred Pause

Not every next step is forward. Sometimes the wisest move is to stop, discern, and wait until the right direction becomes clear. The Sacred Pause is not failure — it is one of the six core truths Textured Talent honors. We hold space for rest as a legitimate, strategic act.

Every engagement begins with a conversation.
