We collect information you provide directly — including your name, email address, and any information shared during a Showroom consultation, through The Truth Mirror™ tool, or in correspondence with Textured Talent.

We may collect basic usage data through analytics tools (such as page views and traffic sources) to understand how our site is used. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual users.

Sensitive Career and Life Context

Textured Talent understands that professionals navigating career disruption often share sensitive personal context — including information about caregiving responsibilities, health circumstances, grief, divorce, financial strain, organizational conflict, or employment history. This information may be shared during a Showroom consultation, through The Truth Mirror™ tool, or in direct correspondence.

We treat this information with full discretion. It is used solely to understand your Season and shape the work. It is never shared with third parties for any purpose, used in marketing or promotional materials without explicit written consent, or retained beyond the active engagement without your knowledge.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations
• To send you resources you have requested (including Truth Mirror™ results)
• To communicate about engagements and services you have expressed interest in
• To improve our website and services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Textured Talent uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

We do not share your personal information with these services beyond what is necessary to deliver the specific service you have requested.

The Truth Mirror™ — Data and Retention

The Truth Mirror™ is a free discernment tool that collects your email address and your responses to 10 questions. Your results are delivered to your inbox. Form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms and stored in our Netlify account dashboard. Submissions are linked to the email address provided.

We do not use your Truth Mirror™ responses for targeting, advertising, or list building without your explicit consent. If you provided your email to receive results, you may receive follow-up communications from Textured Talent. You can unsubscribe at any time.

To request deletion of your Truth Mirror™ submission, email hello@texturedtalent.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will remove your submission from our records within 30 days.

Email Communications

If you submit your email address through any form on this site, you may receive follow-up communications from Textured Talent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you at any time. This includes:

• Responses submitted through The Truth Mirror™
• Notes from Showroom consultations
• Email correspondence stored in our systems
• Any engagement-related documents containing your personal information

To submit a request, email hello@texturedtalent.com with the subject line "Data Request" or "Data Deletion Request." We will respond within 45 days of receiving your request, as required by California law. We may extend this period by an additional 45 days where necessary, and will notify you of any extension. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as financial records.

California Privacy Rights (CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Privacy Rights Act (Civil Code §1798.100 et seq.):

• Right to Know — You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and how it is used and shared.
• Right to Delete — You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Correct — You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — Textured Talent does not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. No opt-out mechanism is required because we do not engage in these practices.
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — Where we collect sensitive personal information (such as health context, financial circumstances, or information about grief, caregiving, or workplace harm shared during consultations or through The Truth Mirror™), we use it solely to deliver the services you have requested. You may request that we limit its use to this purpose only.
• Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Textured Talent does not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or with data brokers. We share your information only with the service providers listed above (Netlify, Cal.com, MailerLite) and only to the extent necessary to deliver the services you have requested.
